  1. TFTPd Quick Start

  3. • Ensure you are running System 7.
  4. • Ensure MacTCP 1.1 (or later) is installed and working.
  5. • Put an alias to TFTPd in your startup folder, and launch it.

TFTPd gives access to any files that are in the TFTPd folder in the preferences folder, which is created when TFTPd starts up.  File names specified can include folder references using colon seperators (athough pairs of colons to go up a folder are not allowed).  You can also use names like “/etc/passwd” to simulate other environments.

  9. Note that TFTPd does not do any ascii translation, so ascii files should be stored on the Mac in “net” form, ie using ISO-8859-1 characters and <crlf> line endings.
